Marcos-Duterte Leads Election Polls

Bongbong Marcos and Sara Duterte remained the pacesetters in the survey conducted by Pulse Asia last February 18-23 for the upcoming elections, chosen by 60% and 53% of the respondents respectively.

The “Uniteam” duo achieved significant gains in Metro Manila, the country’s metropolis and most populated area.

Marcos is then followed by Leni Robredo with 15%, Isko Moreno with 10%, Manny Pacquiao with 8%, and Ping Lacson with 2%.

In the Vice-Presidential Category, Sara Duterte with 53% is then followed by Vicente Sotto with 24%, Kiko Pangilinan with 11%, Willie Ong with 6%, and Lito Atienza with 1%.

Provided their first preference candidate withdraws from the elections, 26% of those with a first choice for president would instead vote for Moreno, and 31% prefer Sotto as their alternate option for Vice-President.
4% did not respond; they are either undecided for who to vote, refused to participate, or don’t have someone to vote for.

Over 67 million Filipinos, including 1.7 million from outside the country, were registered to vote in the approaching elections, which have consistently featured a high turnout.
